Abstract
Background: Caesarean section is an act of making an incision in the abdominal wall and uterine wall to remove the fetus and placenta intact. Caesarean section surgery causes wounds in the abdomen due to the incision. Basically, wounds require a healing process, one of which is nutrition or diet. Nutrition plays an important role in the wound healing process. Purpose: To determine the relationship between nutritional fulfillment and wound healing in post section caesarea patients. Methods: This research used quantitative with a descriptive cross-sectional design approach. With purposive sampling technique, the number of samples were 52 respondents. The research instrument used a Nutrition Fulfillment Questionnaire and a Wound Healing Questionnaire on the REEDA Scale. Using the Spearman Rank test. The research was conducted in August 2022 at PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital. Research Results: Most of the results of the fulfillment of adequate nutrition were 31 respondents (59.6%) and most of the wound healing was in the sufficient category, namely 28 respondents (53.8%). There is a relationship between nutritional fulfillment and wound healing in post partum caesarean section patients at PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital with a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05). Conclusion: There was a relationship between nutritional fulfillment and wound healing in post partum caesarean section patients at PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital. Recommendation: It is hoped that in future studies to control confounding variables better
