Abstract

Background: Sectio caesarea delivery is the expulsion of the products of conception by way of an incision in the abdominal wall with the requirement that the baby's weight is more than 500 grams and the uterus is intact. Caesarean section care requires hospitalization 3-5 days after surgery due to surgical complications. The main problem in surgical practice is surgical wound infection (ILO) so it is necessary to pay attention to the factors that influence it. Objective: To find out what are the factors associated with wound healing for Sectio Caesarea at Dr Tjitrowardojo Hospital, Purworejo. Methods: This type of research is an analytic survey with a cross-sectional time approach. The population taken in this study were postpartum mothers after Sectio caesarea (SC) a total of 1,032 people with a sample of 79 respondents who were taken by purposive sampling. The instruments in this study were calibrated meters and scales, surgical patient mobilization observation sheet and REEDA wound healing observation sheet. Data were analyzed univariately and bivariately (chi square test). Results: Age did not have a significant relationship with the wound healing process for sectio caesarea at Dr Tjitrowardojo Hospital, Purworejo. (p=0.829>0.05). Nutritional status has a significant relationship to wound healing sectio caesarea at Dr Tjitrowardojo Hospital, Purworejo. (p=0.003<0.05) Mobilization has a significant relationship to wound healing sectio caesarea at Dr Tjitrowardojo Hospital Purworejo0 (p=0.000<0.05).
