Abstract

Latar Belakang: Surgery is medical action that causes a lot of anxiousness. Many patient have anxiousness in pre-operation. Nowdays, there are a lot of therapies to solve anxiousness such as murotal Ar-Rahman therapy and lavender aromatherapy. Tujuan Penelitian: To know difference effectiveness both of therapies to reduce preoperative anxiety patients in RSUD dr. Soedirman Kebumen. Metode Penelitian: This study uses a quantitative method with pre-experimental design withpre and posttest control group design. The sample of this reasearch were preoperative patients in RSUD dr. Soedirman Kebumen. The technique of samplingwas through simple random sampling. Data was analyzed usingWilcoxon test dan Mann Whitney Test. Hasil Penelitian: Based the research results, it could be seen that there was no significant difference between Murotal Ar-Rahman Therapy and Lavender Aromatherapy. Thiscould be seen from the results of the analysis that significance (p value) of Mann Whitney Test sebesar 0,413 > 0,05, because the value of p> 0.05, or t <t table. Kesimpulan: Both can reduce anxiety but there is no significant difference Rekomdasi Untuk Peneliti Selanjutnya: The effect of murottal Ar-Rahman therapy and lavender aromatherapy on preoperative patients with other diseases who experience symptoms of anxiety
