Abstract
Background: Adolescence is a time when an individual is just beginning his development period, in this time their emotions and psyche are also still unstable. In this period of adolescence they are also looking for their identity and identity as teenagers. Premarital sex is a very vulnerable problem among adolescents which is influenced by many factors, one of which is the support of the family. The purpose of the study: To determine the relationship of family support with adolescent premarital sexual behavior in college students. Research method: This research is a quantitative research with the type and design of research using crossectional methods. Research conducted at the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Muhammadiyah Gombong. The sample was 77 respondents with systematic random sampling. The research instrument used a Family Support questionnaire with adolescent premarital sexual behavior. Data analysis using Chi Square analysis test. The results of the study: Inthe family environment, the majority of respondents had a level of family support in the sufficient category with a percentage of 75.3%, the majority of premarital sexual behaviors of the majority of respondents had non-deviant premarital sexual behavior, which was 57 respondents (74%). From the results obtained from the results of the Chi Square analysis test with a p-value of 0.005 < (0.05), which means that there is a significant relationship between family support and adolescent premarital sexual behavior in Level I Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Muhammadiyah Gombong. Conclusion: There is a relationship between family support and adolescent premarital sexual behavior in students of level I Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Muhammadiyah Gombong. Recommendations: For subsequent researchers, it is expected to examine why adolescent premarital sexual behavior is still prone to occur in schools or colleges based on religion and health by emphasizing research methods with interviews and direct observation so that respondents can answer / argue directly regarding factors that affect premarital sexual behavior in adolescents.
