Abstract

Background: Based on the increasing number of Covid-19 cases, teaching and learning activities are carried out online. Learning by utilizing online media is a new thing in the world of Indonesian education, so there are several advantages and disadvantages for users and implementers. Some of the obstacles felt by students, including inadequate internet facilities, learning processes that cannot be understood, learning materials that are less interesting, and too many tasks that must be completed as demands of teachers so that it affects student motivation and cumulative achievement index. Objective: To find out the causal factors that affect the decline in the Cumulative Achievement Index in nursing undergraduate and diploma students at Muhammadiyah Gombong University during the COVID-19 pandemic. Research Methods: This study used a descriptive correlational quantitative method with a cross-sectional approach. Sampling using purposive sampling technique and obtained a sample of 77 respondents. data collection used motivation questionnaires and factor analysis questionnaires. Statistical test used spearman rank. Results: Based on the factors that affect student learning outcome, it is found that all independent variables (causative factors) have no significant relationship with the dependent variable (student learning outcomes), which is indicated by the lecturer’s performance variable getting a p-value = 0.290. In the variable of facilities and infrastructure obtained p-value = 0.277. Sstudent factors (physical and psychological health) obtained p-value=0.460. Learning motivation factor with p-value = 0.263. While the learning environment factors get p-value = 0.947. Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that all independent variables related to the factors that affect the decline in Cumulative Achievement Index scores do not have a significant relationship, because the Asimp results. Sig more than 0.05. Recommendation: For further researchers, they can develop the results of this study to continue research on the factors causing the decline in the Cumulative Achievement Index in participating in face-to-face learning durng the Covid-19 pandemic
