Abstract

Background: On May 23th 2022, the total population of Indonesia has 1,75 billion people confirmed cases of COVID 19, resulting in 480,000 deaths. The impact of this disaster was not in the health sector only but in other sectors such as social, economic, education, psychology, and agriculture. In any circumstances, all family members should keep strong, harmonious, happy, and peaceful. Objective: To describe the family resilience in Gunungsari Village of Karanggayam Sub-District during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Method: This study used descriptive research methods with a quantitative approach using the family resilience indicators as a research questionnaire. The number of respondents in this study was 93 respondents and they were selected by purposive sampling technique. Result: The result of this study divided the dimensions of resilience as followed: all respondents had strong legality (100%); physical resilience was in a low category (98.25%), economic resilience in the low category (91.3%); psychological social resilience was in a low category (96.8%); socio-cultural resilience was in the high category (100%), and family resiliensi was in a currently (94,5%). Conclusion: Family resilience during the COVID-19 Pandemic in Gunungsari Village, Karanggayam Sub-District was currently (94,5%). Recommendation: Further research hope to explore family resilience in the religiosity dimension.
