Abstract

Background: Covid-19 has become a pandemic that has been going on since the beginning of 2020 and has had a huge impact on all aspects of people's lives. Efforts to encourage the growth of health program implementation behavior can be carried out by continuously increasing public knowledge about Covid-19. Purposes: This study aims to determine the relationship between public knowledge about Covid-19 and the behavior of the Covid-19 process at the Kroya 2 Health Center. Methods: This research method is correlation research with a cross sectional approach. The study population was all patients and their families who visited the Puskesmas Kroya 2. The number of samples was determined by the Slovin formula as many as 43 were taken by accidental sampling technique. Data analysis using Chi Square statistical test. Result: Most of the public's knowledge about Covid-19 was in the good category, namely 19 people (44.2%) while the others were in the fairly good and not good category, each 12 people (27.9%). The behavior of the Covid-19 process was mostly in the good category, namely 25 people (58.1%) while others were in the fairly good category, namely 18 people (41.9%). The results of the statistical test with Chi Square obtained a p value = 0.001 which is smaller than = 0.05, meaning that there is a relationship between public knowledge about Covid-19 and the behavior of the Covid-19 prokes at the Kroya 2 Health Center. Conclusion: There is a relationship between public knowledge about Covid-19 and the behavior of the Covid-19 prokes at the Kroya 2 Health Center
