Abstract

Background, As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic it causes impacts in various sectors and psychological problems such as anxiety 65%, depression 62% and trauma 75% so it is necessary to provide social support from various sources of support. Family resilience is needed during the Covid-19 pandemic to deal with problems. Objective, Knowing the correlation of social support to the resilience of families affected by Covid-19 at Sidoharjo Village, Sruweng District. Methods, This research is a non-experimental quantitative research, with a cross sectional approach. The sampling technique used a total sampling technique of 45 houses. The bivariate analysis technique used Kendall Tau, the research instrument used a questionnaire. Research Result, Based on the Kendall's Tau test, a p-value of 0.000 or <0.05 was obtained, in other words, there was a relationship between social support and the resilience of families affected by Covid-19 at Sidoharjo Village, Sruweng District. The results of social support with a high category of 80%, low 20%, the resilience of families affected by Covid-19 is said to be high as much as 77.8% and low 22.2%. Conclusion, There is a relationship of social support to the resilience of families affected by Covid-19 at Sidoharjo Village, District Sruweng. Thus, the higher the social support obtained, the higher the family resilience will be. Recommendation : It is hoped that further researchers need to conduct research on each component in family resilience (belief system, family organizational pattern and communication).
