Results: Anxiety level before being given Murottal Al Qur'an in the mild category were 39 people (48.1%), moderate were 41 people (50.6%) and severe was 1 person (1.2%). The anxiety level after being given Murottal Al Qur'an showed no anxiety were 48 people (59.3%), mild were 32 people (39.5%) and moderate was 1 person (1.2%). The Mann Whitney test showed Asymp Sig (2-tailed) 0.000 (< 0.05) which means there is significant difference of the average anxiety of preoperative patients before and after being given Murottal Al-Qur'an therapy.
