Abstract
Background, one of the efforts of the Indonesian government to break the chain of spread and reduce morbidity and mortality due to the covid-19 virus is vaccination. Objectives, the purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between perceptions and attitudes of parents to the status of covid-19 vaccination in children aged 6-12 years. Methods, the method in this study used an analytical observational research design with a cross sectional design. Results, respondents had a positive perception of 57 people (89.1%). Having a positive attitude as many as 53 people (82.8%). The results of the bivariate analysis showed a pvalue of 0.000, which means that there is a relationship between parents' perceptions and attitudes towards the covid-19 vaccination status in children aged 6-12 years. Conclusion, there is a significant relationship between perceptions and attitudes of parents towards the status of covid-19 vaccination in children aged 6-12 years at SD Negeri Sawangan (p value <0.05). Recommendation, it can be used as basic data that can be developed into better research and it is recommended to conduct further research on the perceptions and attitudes of parents whose children have received booster vaccinations.
