Abstract
Background: Patients undergoing hemodialysis program experience a variety of problems. Problems such as anemia / low hemoglobin levelarise as a result of non-functioning kidney. There are several factors that exacerbate the occurrence of anemia such as blood loss due to blood trapped or left in the HD tools. Objective: To determine differences of hemoglobyn level during hemodialysis pre and post tests in PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital. Methods: This study used a descriptive method with survey approach. Samples consisted of 33 respondentsthat were taken by using purposive sampling technique. Data were analyzed by using descriptive analysis. Results: the findings show mean score 7,818 g / dl of hemoglobin levels from pre hemodialysis, and mean score 7,518g / dl of hemoglobin level from post hemodialysis. The average hemoglobin decreased levels mean score of pre and post hemodialysis test was 0.300 g / dl.
