Abstract
Background: Hypertension is an increase in the pulse systolic exceeding that of 140 mmHg and blood pressure diastolic of more than 90 mmHg in the estimation of the condition. Compliance (adherence compliance) is defined as a person who receives a treatment, carries out a diet program, and carries out activities in accordance with the recommendations of the health care provider. Research Objectives: To learn more about the level of compliance with hypertension medications at Karanggedang Village. Research Methods: This study uses a non-experimental descriptive method with a cross-sectional approach. The research sample is 100 people with hypertension at Karanggedang Village to take samples with total sampling. Research Results: The results of this study were 63 (63%) respondents with a high level of compliance and 37 (37%) respondents with a moderate level of compliance. Conclusion: The level of compliance in Karanggedang Village is dominantly high, with a yield of 63%. Recommendation: For further research, researchers are expected to examine the factors associated with medication adherence.
