Abstract

Background: Hallucinations are unreal perceptual distortions, and occur in maladaptive neurobiological responses. Hallucinations that occur in individuals can occur due to predisposing and precipitation factors. Auditory hallucinations in the form of ringing sounds, or noises that have no meaning, but are more often heard as a meaningful sentence or word, and usually the sound is addressed to the sufferer, so it is not uncommon for sufferers to fight or argue with the sound. Therefore, the nurses involved need to provide services to clients with schizophrenia, with hallucinations in a professional manner. One of them is to provide optimal nursing care, based on theories by experts in the field of nursing. One of them is Hilegard Peplau's "Interpersonal Relations" Theory. This model theory explains the ability to understand oneself and others by using the basis of human relationships to achieve common goals. General Objective: Able to describe nursing care using the “Interpersonal Relations” theory approach to clients with sensory perception disorders: Hallucinations at the Among Jiwo Kroya foundation Results: The results of SP1-SP4 actions in patients with sensory perception disorders, using Hilegard Peplau's "Interpersonal Relations" theory approach showed an increase in the ability to control hallucinations. It has increased ability to control hallucinations. In patient 1 there was an increase of 50%. Patient 2 had a 75% improvement in ability. Patient 3 had a 75% improvement in ability. Patient 4 had 50% ability. Patient 5 experienced a 75% increase in ability. An increase in ability was obtained with highest average 1 on the ability control hallucinations by conversing. On the signs and symptoms, the average was found to be 0,8 in hearing voices and noises. Recommendation: For further researchers, it is hoped that they can examine the use of Hilegard Peplau's "Interpersonal Relations" nursing theory approach, especially in nursing problems related to schizophrenia.
