Abstract

Background: The impact of Coronavirus has a very strong impact on education, especially on school-age children where students it is recommended to study from home using online learning media. Research Objectives: To describe the level of anxiety in 6th semester undergraduate nursing students during the coronavirus (covid-19) pandemic at Muhammadiyah University of Gombong. Methods: This research is a descriptive quantitative study with aapproach survey, with a population of 138 students. The sample used with total sampling technique. Statistical test using Descriptive Statistics Frequencies and Crosstabulation. Research Results: Based on the results of the study, it was found that the female gender experienced more anxiety as many as 97 respondents. Meanwhile, seen from the environment of students who experienced higher anxiety, 95 respondents were at home. According to age characteristics, 121 respondents were 20 years old and 17 respondents were 21 years old. Then for the School Burnout Inventory (SBI) it was found that 70 respondents were at the level ofanxiety emotional exhaustion. Conclusion: In this study, the results showed that the majority of respondents experienced problems emotional exhaustion. Recommendation: It is hoped that educational institutions can improve services related to anxiety problems that are often experienced by students, both emotional exhaustion, cynism, personal inadequacy.
