Abstract

Background: Drug Awareness Family Movement Drugs (GKSO) is an effort to increase public understanding of drugs through DAGUSIBU (Get, Use, Save, and Dispose of) which is touted by the Indonesian Pharmacists Association (IAI). In Tasikmadu village get drugs from stalls because they are from pharmacies so that the use of drugs is not in accordance with its function. The application of the "DAGUSIBU" program can provide benefits for the right use of drugs and errors in drug use can be avoided by the community. Purpose of Research: Knowing the level of public knowledge about DAGUSIBU medicine in Tasikmadu Village, Pituruh District, Purworejo Regency Research Methods: This type of research is a descriptive research method, which means that in research using survey techniques, questionnaires are proven by facts in the field. The sample used is 100 respondents. Results: The results of the study were the P Value of the Chisquare Test for the knowledge level of DAGUSIBU, the gender of the respondent was (0.334), the respondent's age (0.267), the respondent's education (0.002), the respondent's occupation (0.185), the respondent's income (0.491). It can be seen that the p value <0.05, it means that there is a significant effect between one independent variable on the dependent variable. If the significance value of p> 0.05 means that there is no significant effect between one independent variable on the dependent variable Conclusion: The P Value of the Chisquare Test Shows that Only Respondent's Education has a significant influence between one independent variable on the dependent. Recommendation: It is hoped that future researchers can conduct more detailed research on drug information to the public so that they know more about the importance of Dagusibu.
