Abstract
Background: Labor pain will have an impact on the normal delivery process, Unless it is resolved. It often happens to maternity in their first stage of active phase labor. To overcome this kind of pain, they may have counter pressure massage and endorphine massage by listening to murotal. Objective: To determine the application of counter pressure massage and endorphine massage with murotal for reducing labor pain of maternity mothers in their of active phase labor. Method: This research type is a case-study. Data obtained from interviews, physical examination and literature study. The participants were 3 maternity mothers who met the inclusion criteria. The instruments used were baby oil, observation sheets, stationery and camera. Results: After having counter pressure massage and endorphine massage by listening to murotal,there was a decrease of labor pain of all participans: form the savere pain became light pain (participant 1 and 3), form severe pain became moderate light( participant 2. Conclusion: The application of counter pressure massage and endorphine massage with murotal has been shown to have an effect on labor pain of maternity mother in their of active phase labor.
