Abstract

Background: During the pandemic, compliance in the use of personal protective equipment for nurses is an effort to reduce the transmission rate of COVID-19. One of the factors that can the compliance of nurse to the use of PPE is fear or anxiety about the risk of disease transmission. Purposes: This study aims to determine the relationship between anxiety to COVID-19 transmission and nurse compliance in the use of PPE at RSU Aghisna Medika Kroya. Methode: This research design is descriptive analytic correlation with cross sectional design with 30 nurses as respondents. Statistical test using chi-square. Result: The results of the study showed most of the respondents were anxiety about the transmission of COVID-19 and compliance in the use of PPE (85.7%). This result of the study showed a significant relationship between anxiety to COVID-19 transmission and nurses compliance in the use of PPE at RSU Aghisna Medika Kroya with a value of 0.017 (p <0.05). Conclusion: There is a relationship between anxiety to COVID-19 transmission and nurses compliance in the use of PPE at RSU Aghisna Medika Kroya
