Abstract

Background: The coverage of exclusive breastfeeding in Indonesia is still far from the government's target of 80%. In Indonesia, the percentage of exclusive breastfeeding for infants aged 0–6 months in 2018 decreased to 58.2% (Riskesdas, 2018). Problems with early breastfeeding and breastfeeding ineffectiveness often occur in mothers who experience childbirth through Sectio Caesaria (SC). This problem can have a negative impact on the baby's life because the baby is likely to lose colostrum. In tackling this problem, the technique that can be done is Hypnobreastfeeding. Objective: To analyze nursing care on the problem of ineffective breastfeeding in post sectio caesarea mothers at Dr. Hospital. Sudirman Kebumen. Methods: This scientific paper uses a descriptive case study design. The case study subjects were 5 post-SC mothers, who had problems with ineffective breastfeeding. Collecting data by using observation, interview and documentation study techniques. Results: The nursing problem of breastfeeding is not effective resolved with an increase in breast milk production. Conclusion: Hypnobreastfeeding innovation is effective in increasing breast milk production in post SC mothers.
