Abstract
Background: Nurses who work in IRI/ICU rooms are very vulnerable to experiencing Burnout due to the many burdens of responsibility and demands that must be met and lived by nurses. The impact of burnout on individuals, for example, is the appearance of physical disorders, susceptibility to illness, the emergence of psychosomatic disorders, as well as psychological disorders, while the impact on organizations is an increase in the frequency of being absent from work, quitting jobs or job turnover, which then affects the effectiveness and efficiency of work within the organization. Objective: to find out the description of nurse burnout in the intensive care unit of RSUD Dr. Soedirman Kebumen Method: The research method is descriptive with a survey approach. The author took data from 50 nurses who were taken by total sampling. Instrument in the form of a questionnaire. Data were analyzed descriptively Results: Most of the nurses were aged 35-45 years (50.0%), career path PK 3 (54.0%), education level D3 (52.0%), length of time at IRI <9 years (76.0%), no have a history of intensive training (62.0%). Nurses with moderate category burnout (52.0%). Conclusion: Most of the nurses in the intensive care unit at Dr Soedirman Hospital Kebumen are aged 35-45 years (50.0%), career path is PK 3 (54.0%), education level is D3 (52.0%), length of time at IRI < 9 years (76.0%), did not have a history of intensive training (62.0%). Nurses with moderate category burnout (52.0%). Recommendation: Future researchers can group/cluster nurses based on work units to find out the description of burnout in each unit BOR (Bed Occupancy Rate) and LOOS (Length Of Stay).
