Abstract
Background: WHO data in 2020, as many as 149.2 million children under the age of 5 years were too short for their age (stunting), 45.4 million children were too thin for their height (wasting) and 38.9 million children too heavy for his height (overweight). To overcome this problem, pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment can be carried out. One of the nonpharmacological treatments is tui na massage using citronella oil. This massage will later help increase the toddler's appetite, so that it can improve the child's weight and height problems. Purpose: Implementing the application of tui na massage using citronella oil to increase toddlers' appetite. Methods: This study used descriptive research methods with a cased study design and it taken 5 respondents. Data obtained from observation, documentation, and library memories. Results: Before the application of 5 respondents (100%) were included in the category of poor appetite, then the application of tui na massage using citronella oil was carried out, 5 respondents (100%) were included in the category of good appetite, meaning that there was an increase in appetite in toddlers. Conclusion: The use of tui na massage using lemongrass oil can help increase toddlers' appetite.
