Abstract

Background : Strategy end tuberculosis strategy is an activity to break the chain of the tuberculosis epidemic with a vision of a TB-Free world in 2030. Tuberculosis prevention theraphy (TPT) is a program to control tuberculosis rates. Access to treatment for latent tuberculosis infection (ILTB) is limited, WHO recommends TPT to be priorized for children exposed to contact with TB suffers who are under 5 years old. Family support is an important variable in providing support in the form of motivation, support, and encouragemnet for patients to carry out TPT according to the guidelines chosen by the family. Objective : Find out the description of the level of family support in Tuberculosis Prevention Theraphy (TPT) Methods : This research used quantitative descriptive method with survei approached. The sample was taken by the family of patient who undergoing tuberculosis prevention therapy. There was 40 respondenstaken by total sampling technique. Result : From 40 family respondents of TPT patients, it was found that the majority of family support was in the good category 36 respondents (90%) and family support in moderate category 4 respondents (10%). Conclusion : The level of family support in Tuberculosis Prevention Theraphy (TPT) is in the good categoty Recommendation : For further researches it will conductif with the theme of the factor related to the succes of Tuberculosis Prevention Therapy (TP
