Abstract

Background: This scientific writing is based on data obtained from various sources of literature stating that Healing Touch Therapy is a simple therapy. This therapy can be used to overcome the risk of ineffective cerebral tissue perfusion in the elderly with hypertensive disorders. Objectives: describe the risk of perfusion of cerebral tissue nursing care; not effective in the elderly with hypertension by using healing touch therapy in Kalibangkang Village, Ayah District. Methods: This scientific writing is an analytical descriptive process with a case study approach. Data obtained through observation and interviews. The participants were 3 elderly clients with hypertension. Results: after the healing touch therapy was carried out for 3 days it was found that there could be a decrease in paraesthesia or tingling, persistent dizziness and neck pain as well as signs and symptoms that appeared in the three patients. Conclusion: Healing Touch Therapy helps relax the body and is able to reduce blood pressure in elderly clients with hypertension. Recommendation: Clients are advised to continue healing touch therapy independently at home to facilitate the process of lowering blood pressure and prevent signs and symptoms from reappearing.
