Abstract

Background : In recent years of asthma has seen significant increase in both developed and developing countries. The data for World Health Organization (WHO) in 2020 shows 235 million asthma sufferers worldwide. Asthma is a concition in which the respiratory system is constricted due to hypersensitivity to specific stimuli. Nonpharmacological tarification should be considered to help control the symptoms and reduce the risk of asthma such as Pursed Lip Breathing Purpose of writing : The purpose of the writing describes nursing care patterns ineffective in asthma patients with an pursed lip breathing application Methode : The writing uses a descriptive method of scientific methods that describe what objects will be studied by approaching case studies involving study, diagnosis, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. The respondent in the case study was that three asthma patients with the respiratory care problems were ineffective. Results : After application of pursed lip breathing in patients asthma in obtained results that respiratory rate decr eases and oxygen saturation increases. Conclusion : The last three days of evaluation were reduced asphyxiation, respiration rate decreasing, and oxygen saturation increasing , and clients were able to regulate breathing patterns. Recommendation : Pursed lip breathing therapy in preferable if clients practice self-biochemical breathing regularly at home to manage asthma and reduce recurrence.
