Abstract
Background : Quality of service is a health service that leads to patient satisfaction in accordance with the degree and code of ethics that has been established. Patient satisfaction is the result of an assessment of the patient's view by comparing expectations with reality. Patients tend to be loyal and stick to their choices if the hospital is able to provide the best quality service to patients and patients feel the best offers at the hospital. Purpose : To determine the relationship between nurse service quality and Class III Inpatient satisfacation at RSUD Dr. Soedirman Kebumen. Method : This type of research uses quantitative methods and uses correlational research, with a cross sectional approach. The research instrument used a service quality questionnaire and a patient satisfaction questionnaire. The number of research samples is 98 respondents. Data analysis used the Chi Square test. Result : Based on statistical tests for the Chi Square test, the value of p = 0.020 was obtained and at ɑ = 0.05 because p (0.020) < ɑ (0.05) so that Ho was accepted. Because the p value <0.05, it is statistically stated that there is a relationship between the quality of nurse service and the satisfaction of Class III inpatients at RSUD Dr. Soedirman Kebumen. Conclusion : These results indicate that the quality of nurse service is related to patient satisfaction in Class III Inpatient Room at Dr Soedirman Kebumen RDUD. Recommendation : For future researchers, it is suggested to continue the research by considering other factors related to patient satisfaction in a larger sample and in all inpatient rooms so that the results are more accurate.
