Abstract

Background: The incidence of short toddlers or commonly known as stunting is one of the nutritional problems experienced by toddlers. Various nutritional problems, including the incidence of stunting under five, which is a major nutritional problem that is currently being faced. Purpose: To find out what factors influence the incidence of stunting at the Batur 2 Health Center, Banjarnegara Regency. Methods: This study used the analytic correlation method in a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all toddlers in the Batur 2 Banjarnegara Health Center area. The sample used the purposive sampling method, which consisted of 294 toddlers. Results: Obtained the majority of babies born with normal weight were 257(87.4%), history of exclusive breastfeeding was obtained 13(4.4%) who gave exclusively, history of complementary complementary foods was 114(38.8%), A history of illness was obtained in 49 (16.7%) with a history of illness. The incidence of stunting was obtained in 66 (22.4%). birth weight, history of exclusive breastfeeding, history of giving complementary foods, history of illness obtained p_value less than 0.05 Conclusion: There is a relationship between birth weight, history of exclusive breastfeeding, history of giving complementary foods, history of illness and stunting at the Batur 2 Health Center, Banjarnegara Regency
