Thefactor that plays a very important role in reducing the incidence of hypothermy is by doing Early Breastfeeding Initiation (IMD) or (early initiation). Purpose: To determine the relationship of Early Breastfeeding Initiation (IMD) to the incidence of hypothermy in neonates at Palang Biru Hospital Method: This study uses jenis quantitative research with observational analytical design . The sample size in this study was 43 respondents using purposive sampling techniques. In analyzing the data bivariately, data testing was carried out using the Chi-square Test with a significant level of 95%, Results: The Chi-Square Test results obtained a p-value of 0.001<0.05 so that itwas concluded that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted which means that there is a relationship of Early Breastfeeding Initiation (IMD) to the incidence of hypothermy in neonates at Palang Biru Hospital. Conclusion: Early Breastfeeding Initiation (IMD) has a relationship to the incidence of hypothermy in neonates at Palang Biru Hospital
