Abstract
Background, the background of this research is National Health Insurance (JKN) is one of the government programs organized by the Health Social Security Administration (BPJS) in accordance with the provisions in Law number 24 of 2011. The results of the survey of the level of understanding of JKN participants conducted by BPJS Kesehatan in 2021 in the Deputy Region of Central Java and Yogyakarta Special Region (DIY) ranked the lowest at 76.2%, even below the national average which reached 86.3%. Purpose, the purpose of this study was to determine what factors influence the knowledge of JKN-KIS program participants at BPJS Kesehatan Purworejo Regency in 2023. Research Methods, the research method is correlational by analyzing the influence between independent variables (level of education, frequency of visits, and sources of information) on the dependent variable (knowledge). Research Result, The results of this research showed that the largest Exp (B) value or odds ratio on the education level variable was high education (OR=0.207), on the frequency of visits variable was routine visits (OR=0.385), and on the information source variable was high information (OR=0.051). Conclusion, the conclusion of this study is that the level of education, sources of information, and frequency of visits at health facilities affect the knowledge of JKN-KIS program participants. Recommendations for future researchers are to be able to examine other factors that can affect knowledge.
