Abstract
Elimination is one of the basic human needs. If the elimination requirement is not met, there will be problems in the human body. The one that appears in the interference elimination requirement is constipation. Constipation is a decrease in the frequency of defecation, followed by spending a long or hard stool and dry. The age factor fluid intake, physical activity and lack of fibrous food is a factor of constipation. The purpose of this paper is to provide an overview in providing nursing care to meet the needs of problem elimination in patients constipation. Based on retrospective case series study conducted in Tn.S in PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong From Assessment results Found 3 issues: 1) Constipation 2) excess fluid volume 3) Deficiency of knowledge. Various actions based NIC has been done to address the problem so that in accordance with the criteria suggested results NOC. One of the actions undertaken are prioritized nursing is doing huknah. Huknah solution is put into the rectum into the sigmoid colon. To soften the feces and lubricate the rectum to make the stool becomes easier expenditures. Huknah is given to improve bowel movement by stimulating peristalsis. Evaluations are carried out for 2 days by giving huknah to soften stool and facilitate the stool out has been resolved with the client already defecation and defecation are not accompanied by blood.
