Abstract
Background: the problem of a scientific paper is based on data obtained from various sources of literature that states need comfort at Mrs. T in the space kenanga dr. Sudirman Kebumen. Purpose: general purpose scientific papers is to provide an overview of nursing care with the comfort of a problem meeting the needs of patients with melena include assessment, formulation of diagnosis, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. Nursing care: in the discussion of nursing problems that arise acute pain associated with injury to biological agents. Intervention and implementation has been done in the form of assessing the pain comprehensively teach the techniques of non pharmacologic (relaxation breath in and distraction relaxation), positioning clients as comfortable as possible, set the environmental conditions as comfortable as clients, provides pharmacological treatment, encourage clients relaxation, measuring vital signs. In evaluations conducted during the 3 days of the clients said in a statement there was no pain, blood pressure 108/62 mm Hg, pulse 74 x/min, the temperature of 36.50 C, RR 20 x/min, injection Ranitidine entry per intravenous injection Kalnex entry per intravenously, oral therapy Sucralfat entered orally, Omeprazole entered orally, the client no longer withstand the pain, facial expression relax clients. Acute Pain nursing problems resolved.
