Abstract
Background: Hallucination is a sensory perception without external stimuli. The main effect of hallucination is the loss of social identity. It can kill oneself, kill other people, and even can damage the social environment. To overcome those effects, generalist therapy and movement therapy (warming up) can be applied. Objective: Describing nursing care for hallucinatory patients by applying generalist therapy and motion therapy (warming up) Method: This scientific paper is an analytical descriptive with a case study approach. Data was obtained through observation and interview. The respondents were 3 patients having sensory disorder. Result: After having generalist therapy and motion therapy (warming up), there was a decrease in sign and symptom: respondent 1 – from 100% became 45%, respondent 2 – from 100% became 36%, and respondent 3 – from 100% became 18%. Conclusion: The application of generalist therapy and therapy (warming up) is effective in decreasing the sign and symptom of hallucinatory and in improving the ability of patients to their control hallucinations Recommendation: Generalist therapy and motion therapy (warming up) are advisable to optimize the treatment of hallucinatory patients.
