Abstract
Background Hypertension patients experience pain in the head as a result of high blood pressure caused by narrowing of the arteries. Ways that can be done to lower blood pressure with Foot Soak Therapy in Warm Water with a Combination of Salt and Lemongrass. The purpose of this scientific paper is to determine the effect of Warm Water Foot Soak Therapy with a Combination of Salt and Lemongrass on reducing blood pressure in hypertensive patients. The method of this scientific writing is descriptive with a case study approach for 3 patients using Warm Water Foot Soak Therapy with a Combination of Salt and Lemongrass for 3 meetings with a duration of 10 minutes. Data obtained through assessment, observation, and examination of vital signs. Subjects were three patients with the same hypertension problem. Results The results of the study on data analysis found acute pain nursing problems associated with physiological agents of injury. The interventions carried out were pain assessment, location identification, characteristics, duration, frequency, quality, pain intensity, non-pharmacological therapies to relieve pain such as Warm Water Foot Soak Therapy with a Combination of Salt and Lemongrass. The evaluation results of the Warm Water Foot Soak Therapy Combination of Salt and Lemongrass which has been applied to 3 Hypertension patients who experience pain have proven to be effective in lowering blood pressure, it was found that all patients experienced a decrease in blood pressure. Recommendations This case study is to improve the quality of nursing care in hypertensive patients who experience headaches by applying Wwarm Water Foot Soak Therapy with a Combination of Salt and Lemon grass.
