Abstract

Background: Judging from the high number of diabetes which reached 10.7 million in Indonesia. About 60-70% of DM has mild to severe neuropathy complications, resulting in sensory loss and lower extremity damage. The mortality rate from diabetic ulcers ranges from 17-23%. Individuals with diabetes mellitus have a 15-25% risk of making diabetic ulcers. To prevent diabetic ulcers from occurring by reducing tingling in clients, including doing foot gymnastics therapy. Objective: Explain foot gymnastics treatment for diabetes mellitus patients Method: This scientific paper was descriptive analytic with a case study approach. Data obtained through studies, interviews, observations Results: After foot gymnastics therapy, there was an improvement in peripheral perfusion measurements that were not effective in clients with ABI measurement prefixes of 0.7-0.8 to 1.1-1.2. Recommendation: Diabetic foot exercise methods can be applied in hospitals or communities in general to overcome tingling
