Abstract

Background: One of the goals of the 17 visionary Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) which carries all health issues is integrated in vision/goal number 3, which is to ensure a healthy life and promote well-being for all people at all ages, including being free from tuberculosis. Indonesia is one of the countries with the highest TB burden in the world, while the incidence of pulmonary TB in 2022 in the working area of the Wanayasa 1 Public Health Center is 21 sufferers and Batur 1 has 10 sufferers. Objective: To find out the description of clean and healthy living behavior in pulmonary TB patients in Wanayasa sub-district and Batur sub-district, Banjarnegara district. Methods: The research design used was a descriptive survey research with a cross-sectional study method. Results: Respondents who often lay out bedding to dry, namely 30 people (86%), Respondents who have the habit of opening doors and windows every morning, namely 34 people (97%), Respondents who do not have the habit of smoking in the house are 35 people (100%), Respondents who have regular exercise habits are 28 people (80%), Respondents who have the habit of eating nutritious food are 33 people (94%), Respondents who have a habit of washing clothes with clean water and soap, namely 34 people (97%), Respondents who have a habit of using healthy latrines, namely 33 people (94%), Respondents who have a habit of washing hands with clean water and soap, namely 33 people (94%) , Respondents who have enough rest cycle habits, namely 34 people (97%). Conclusion: Clean and healthy living behavior in TB sufferers is good. Recommendations for further research to examine the factors that influence the incidence of TB in Wanayasa sub-district and Batur sub-district, Banjarnegara district
