Abstract
Background: Mental disorder is a condition caused by problems in thoughts, feelings and actions where humans are less able to adapt to themselves, others and the environment.People with mental disorders often experience problems about their own thoughts because they measure their abilities by other people's standards Objective: Knowing the Psychological Conditions (Anxiety, Stress, Depression) of Families in Caring for People with Mental Disorders (ODGJ) in the Sempor 2 Health Center Area. Method: This research method is a descriptive study with a cross sectional approach. Researchers took data from 80 families treating mental disorders. Taken by total sampling. The technique of taking a questionnaire on survey psychological conditions (anxiety, stress, depression) of families treating mental disorders has been tested Peni unji ian reiliability and validity on meieisioneir DASS deijust a stress scalesi s Cronbach's Alpha 0.8806, Deipresi i 0.9053, and Keci emi asan 0.8517. Researchers gave 15 minutes to fill out the questionnaire. Data analysis was in the form of univariate analysis (descriptive analysis) which was presented in the form of a frequency distribution table. Results :28 elderly people aged 56-65 (35%) or , moderate 39 people (40.0%) have moderate anxiety, moderate 39 people (48.8%) have mild depression. Conclusion: Families that treat mental disorders are mostly elderly women who are housewives Recommendation: The researcher hopes that future researchers will be able to update this research with different methods such as qualitative so that they can find out a lot about psychological conditions.
