Abstract
Background: Auditory hallucinations are a mental disorder in which patients experience disturbances in perception, sensory, taste, touch, sight or smell. These auditory hallucinations are hearing commanding voices or whispers that are not real or do not exist. Hallucination disorders can be controlled with generalist SP1-4 therapy, including recognizing the content of hallucinations and rebuking, taking medication, having conversations and doing activities. General Objective: Applying Nursing Care to Patients with Perception Disorders, Auditory Hallucinations Through Generalist Therapy Sp 1-4 at RSJ Prof. Dr Soerojo Magelang. Method: This case study uses a descriptive method with a case study approach. The case study subjects were 5 patients with auditory hallucinations. The instruments used were aceptive format, interviews, observation sheets for signs and symptoms of auditory hallucinations, SP1-4 hallucinations. Nursing Care Results: Results of applying generalist therapy SP1-4 using an observation sheet for signs of hallucinations for 5 respondents with nursing problems of perception disorders, auditory hallucinations, the patient heard whispers. With a maximum score after the pro test of 4, which is quite decreasing. Conclusion: The results of applying generalist therapy SP1-4 showed that the results of generalist therapy can help patients control hallucinations. Recommendation: It is hoped that the results of this research will enable health workers to build trusting relationships and use implementation strategies with clients to control hallucinations and be more patient in dealing with clients with auditory hallucinations.
