Abstract
Background: A Stroke is a disruption of blood supply to the brain caused by rupture of a blood vessel or blockage of a blood clot. Management that must be given to patients the first or in the acute phase is breathing excirse and the second management or management of stroke in the rehabilitation phase of range of motion training or Range Of Motion Spherical Grip. Objectives: Explaining nursing care for breathing exercise and ROM spherical grip in stroke patients in the Amaryllis Room of RSUD Prof. Margono Soekarjo. Methods: This study used a descriptive method with a case study approach. The sample amounted to 5 non-hemorrhoidal stroke patients. The case study instrument uses SOP breathing exercise and SOP ROM Spherical Grip. Results: The results of the application of non pharmacological therapy with Breathing exercise Techniques and ROM Spherical Grip exercises on 5 Non-Hemorrhagic Stroke patients with nursing problems with physical mobility disorders by being given nursing actions for 3x24 hours with breathing exercise and ROM spherical grip carried out 2x1 (morning and evening) for 10 minutes. And the results in 5 patients experienced an increase in muscle strength on days 2 and 3 with a scale of increase 1 seen from the observation sheet that had been done for 3 days, while for the effectiveness of giving breathing exercise techniques themselves from 5 patients who had been given deep breathing techniques before doing ROM Spherical grip and observed after 5 minutes of examination of vital signs patients decreased blood both for diastole pressure and pressure systolic, respiration, pulse and SpO2. Recommendation: The results of this study It is hoped that Breathing Exercise and ROM Spherical Grip can be a rehabilitation treatment used for independent therapy for patients and for patients' families at home.
