Abstract
Background : High blood pressure cannot be ignored just like that because it can cause complications (WHO, 2013). Research purposes : Gerontic Nursing Care in the Elderly Sleep Pattern Disorders with Hypertensive Treatment Problems in Jatimulyo Village Research methods : The method used in this study is the Descriptive method with a case study approach. The meaning of the descriptive method is a series of objects that generally have a purpose in terms of making and describing a picture of phenomena (including health) experienced by a particular population. The case study process is carried out by examining a problem through a case consisting of a single unique. Research result: Based on the results of the nursing evaluation of the provision of warm water foot soak therapy and from the results of a characteristic assessment on five clients with hypertension problems in the elderly who experienced sleep pattern disorders with 3 men and 2 women from the five clients experienced a decrease in blood pressure marked by a decrease in headache symptoms due to increased blood pressure and improved sleep patterns of the elderly. After a foot soak of warm water blood pressure Mr. R TD : 130/80, Mr. P 128/80, Mr. S 140/80,Mrs. 140/85, Mrs. B 145/95. Conclusion: Based on the results of the study obtained from warm water foot bath, significant results were obtained on reducing the scale of pain in respondents with male sex 3 people and female 2 people. Rekomendasi: It is hoped that future research will be able to develop this research with new methods and variables
