Abstract
Background: Sectio caesarea is giving birth to a baby by making a surgical incision that enters the mother's stomach and uterus with a procedure called a caesarean section. Sactio caesarea delivery with indications of preeclampsia according to theory, namely sactio caesarea is carried out to prevent maternal and fetal death due to dangerous complications, or complications that will occur if the delivery is normal. Management that must be done in experiencing preeclampsia in women after cesarean section, one of which is with foot massage. Massage techniques affect the smooth circulation of blood flow, balance the flow of energy in the body, and can relax muscle tension. Objectives: Describes the analysis of nursing care in sactio caesarea patients with indications of preeclampsia by providing foot massage therapy. Methods: This study uses a descriptive methodology with a case study approach. The sample consisted of 5 caesarean section patients with indications of preeclampsia. The case study instrument used foot massage SOP and observation sheets Results: The results of the application of non pharmacological therapy with foot massage therapy in 5 post section caesarean patients with indications of preeclampsia with nursing problems at risk of impaired cerebral perfusion are not effectively given as long as they are given once a day for 3 days with a time of 20 minutes. And the results were 5 patients experienced a decrease in blood pressure on day 1 to day 3 seen from the observation sheet that had been carried out for 3 days. Recommendation: Foot massage therapy is expected to become a rehabilitation treatment used for independent therapy for patients and their families at home.
