Abstract
Background: Adolescence is a transition period for an individual to adulthood, changes in the transition period during adolescence can cause adolescent confusion which is feared to lead adolescents to irresponsible sexual behavior such as dating behavior that leads to premarital sexual intercourse or free sex. The high rate of early marriage reaches 188 children. Of the total population of adolescents (aged 14-19 years) there are 19.6% cases of early marriage in 2023. Minimal knowledge tends to be supportive of free sex and will ultimately form negative behavior that can lead to unwanted pregnancies. Purpose: To determine the relationship between sexual knowledge and premarital sexual behaviour in adolescent students at SMK NU 09 Pancasila Methode : This research is descriptive quantitative with cross-sectional design. Samples of all students of SMK NU 09 Pancasila with total sampling technique. Result : Characteristics of respondents based on age the majority of students in mid adolescence were 39 students (67.8%), gender Mostly female 35 respondents (60.3%) and based on class Mostly in grade 12 with 25 respondents (43.1%). The results showed that students' knowledge of premarital sex was in the good category (81%), sufficient (17.2%) and lacking (1.7%) while for students' attitudes related to premarital sex in sominasi positive attitude (62.1%). Conclusion : Knowledge and Attitude of adolescents towards premarital sex are well knowledgeable with a positive attitude towards premarital sex.
