Background: Low back pain (LBP) is a musculoskeletal disorders caused by poor body activity. There are various non-pharmacological therapies for treating back pain, such as foot-hand massage technique, thereby creating a relaxing effect and reducing pain. General Objectives: To analyze nursing care for Low Back Pain patients with acute pain through the hand foot massage method at Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto Hospital. Methods: This study used a descriptive case study design. There are 5 patients with a diagnosis of low back pain as respodents. Hand and foot massage as interventions for reducing pain. Pain scale measurement instrument using a numeric rating scale (NRS). Results of Nursing Care: The result of this study explain the main nursing problem is acute pain related to physical injury agents. The intervention was given for respondents with hand and foot massage therapy. Evaluation showed a decrease in the pain scale after the hand and foot massage therapy. Recommendation: Nursing intervention with hand and foot massage therapy can be used as Standard Operating Procedures in managing pain in low back pain patients.
