Abstract

Background: Nausea and vomiting is one of the common problems in the first trimester of pregnancy, 50-90% of women experience nausea and vomiting. Nausea and vomiting during pregnancy are the most common complaints that effect on both the physical and mental conditions of pregnant mothers. This is due to the increasing tendency of women to use herbal medications during pregnancy. Therefore, the writer is interested in conducting a study on the effect of lemon aromatherapy inhalation on nausea and vomiting during pregnancy. Purpose: The aim of this study was to find out the effect of lemon aromatherapy inhalation on nausea and vomiting during pregnancy. Method: The study design used in this study using a qualitative descriptive study type of case study conducted in Ny. N. type of data used descriptive qualitative that can be obtained through interviews and observations. Result: The writer provides Mrs. N lemon aromatherapy inhalation to reduce nausea and vomiting. Conclusion: Lemon aromatherapy inhalation is effective to decrease nausea and vomiting during the first trimester of pregnancy.
