Abstract
Background: Preeclampsia is a health problem that occurs when a pregnancy reaches 20 weeks or more, pre eclampsia is accompanied by hypertension and proteinuria as main signs. Based on data obtained from medical records, the incidence of pre eclampsia in pregnant women in 2021 was 116 cases and 141 cases in 2022. Object: To determine the factors associated with the incidence of pre eclampsia in pregnant women at Setjonegoro wonosobo Hospital. Methods: Descriptive analytic with case control stusy. Medical record sampel was 56 pregnant women with pre eclampsia and 56 case controls of pregnant women without pre eclampsia. Univariate analysis by calculating the percentage of pre eclampsia pregnant woment based on age, parity, history of hypertension, education and body mass. Bivariate analysis with chi square test. Result: The P value for age is 0.205, parity 0.88, history of hypertension 0.000, education 0.129 and body mass index 0.214. The history of hypertension factor is related to the incidence of pre-eclampsia in pregnant women at Setjonegoro Wonosobo Hospital with a p value of 0.000 . The factors age, parity, education and body mass index are not related to the incidence of pre-eclampsia in pregnant women at KRT Setjonegoro Hospital, Wonosobo because the p value is more than 0.005. Conclusion: There is a relationship between a history of hypertension and the incidence of pre-eclampsia in pregnant women at Setjonegoro Wonosobo Hospital.
