Abstract
Background:Hypertension is a situation where there is an increase/increase in systolic blood pressure of >140 mmHg and with diastolic pressure of >90 mmHg over a long period of time. However, many patients who experience hypertension complain that the pain they cause is more severe than they should be because they are influenced by anxiety. There are ways that can be used to control anxiety, namely by applying generalist therapy and instrumental piano music therapy. General purpose:The general aim of writing this Final Scientific Work for Nurses is to describe the results of nursing care for Hypertension Patients with anxiety nursing problems through a combination of generalist therapy and instrumental piano music at Dr. Soedirman Regional Hospital, Kebumen. Method :The method for writing this Final Scientific Work for Nurses is a descriptive method with a case study approach in the form of nursing care for 5 hypertension patients who experience anxiety with a duration of approximately 30 minutes at each meeting, starting from assessment, data analysis, intervention, implementation and evaluation. The instruments used were psychosocial mental nursing care format, observation sheet, sign and symptom format and standard operational procedures for mental nursing actions. The actions taken were using generalist therapy and innovative listening to instrumental piano music which was carried out during 3 meetings. Results of nursing care:The nursing problem in this case study is anxiety. The intervention was carried out using generalist therapy and instrumental piano music, which was carried out over 3 meetings. The results of this writing show a decrease in signs and symptoms, as well as an increase in the patient's abilities. The decrease in signs and symptoms was greatest in the second patient. namely experiencing a decrease of 6 signs and symptoms (71%).The six signs and symptoms are reduced confusion, decreased worry, easier concentration, less restless, more relaxed and able to rest and sleep comfortably. Recommendation:. The results of generalist therapy nursing actions and instrumental piano music distraction can increase the patient's ability to reduce anxiety levels.
