Abstract

Background: Anxiety experienced by pregnant women with pre-eclamsia is more severe than that of pregnant women without pre-eclamsia. Nurses play a role in dealing with anxiety through a non-pharmacological approach, one of which is Murrotal Al-Quran therapy. This therapy provides an element of relaxation to reduce anxiety. Objective: Describing nursing care for pregnant women with pre-eclampsia in the Flamboyan Room of Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Hospital of Purwokerto. Methods: This Final Scientific Paper uses a descriptive case study approach. The instrument used was the HARS anxiety observation sheet. This case study involved 5 respondents with the criteria of preeclamptic pregnant women who experienced anxiety and was carried out for 3 days. Results: The nursing problem that arises is anxiety. Nursing intervention and implementation, namely Murrotal Al-Quran therapy. The results of the nursing evaluation of the five patients with this therapy indicated that the anxiety nursing problem was resolved. at the first patient from a score of 26 (moderate anxiety) to a score of 14 (mild anxiety), the second patient from a score of 24 (moderate anxiety) to a score of 14 (mild anxiety), the third patient from a score of 26 (moderate anxiety) to a score of 12 (no anxiety), the fourth patient 4 from a score of 22 (moderate anxiety) to a score of 14 (mild anxiety), and on the fifth patient from a score of 26 (moderate anxiety) to a score of 15 (mild anxiety). Recommendation: The results of this case study can be applied to pregnant women with preeclampsia who experience anxiety.
