Abstract
Background: Mild head injuries are the most common disorders in adults. Acute pain is one of the most common symptoms in patients with mild head injuries. Surah Ar-Rahman complementary murottal therapy is one therapy that can be used to reduce acute pain. Objective: To provide nursing care to patients with mild head injuries with the main nursing problem of acute pain using complementary murottal therapy surah Ar-Rahman. Research objective: Providing nursing care to patients wit mild head injuries with the main nursing problem of acute pain with complementary murrotal therapy Surah Arrahman. Method: This research uses a descriptive method with a case study approach. The research subjects were 5 patients with mild head injuries. Data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation. Results: Nursing intervention and implementation carried out for 6 hours, with mild head injuries show that acute pain is related to biological injuring agents, characterized by a decrease in the pain scale from moderate to mild. The results of the innovative nursing action of the murrotal Surah Ar-rahman technique in patients with mild head injuries who experienced acute pain showed a decrease in the pain scale from the moderate to mild category, this shows that murrotal Surah Ar-rahman is effective as a complementary therapy in reducing acute pain. Conclusion: Surah Ar-Rahman complementary murottal therapy can be an additional therapy option to reduce acute pain in patients with mild head injuries. Recommendation: The recommendation from this research is the need to create standard operating procedures (SOP) for implementing complementary murottal therapy in Surah Ar-Rahman.
