Abstract
Background: Breast cancer is gland cells, glandular ducts that grow abnormally and the growth of breast supporting tissue in an infiltrative and destructive manner that can metastasize. General Objective: To explain nursing care for breast cancer patients with anxiety nursing problems in the Wijayakusuma Room, Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Hospital, Purwokerto. Method: This research uses a descriptive method with a case study approach. The sample consisted of 5 breast cancer patients. The case study instrument uses the SOP for murrotal therapy, the SOP for administering lavender aromatherapy and an observation sheet before and after administering murrotal therapy and lavender aromatherapy. Nursing Care Results: Results of the application carried out on 5 patients, all of whom experienced anxiety nursing problems and were given murrotal therapy for 15-30 minutes first, then given lavender aromatherapy simultaneously for 10-15 minutes, after the intervention ended 15 minutes then measurements were taken using observation sheet. Then observed before and after therapy. After applying the therapy to 5 patients, the results showed a decrease in verbalization of worry, a decrease in anxious attitudes, a reduction in tense attitudes, and an increase in concentration. Conclusion: The results of implementing innovative nursing actions showed that there was a decrease in verbalization of worry, a decrease in anxious attitudes, a reduction in tense attitudes, and an increase in concentration.
