Abstract
Background, Bronchopneumonia is inflammation that occurs in the walls of the bronchioles and the surrounding lung tissue. So it can cause one of the symptoms, namely difficulty in maintaining the airway because there are secretions that are difficult to expel. So treatment is needed to remove secretions that are difficult to expel and aims to reduce sputum production, namely by giving chest physiotherapy therapy. General Objective, the aim of this research is to analyze nursing care for bronchopneumonia patients with ineffective airway clearance nursing problems. Method, This case study used a descriptive method involving 5 patients who experienced respiratory problems in Bronchopneumonia patients. The data was obtained using an observation sheet, then the action taken was providing chest physiotherapy therapy. Results of Nursing Care, the main nursing diagnosis that emerged in the five Bronchopneumonia patients was ineffective airway clearance, implementation was carried out according to nursing intervention, namely chest physiotherapy therapy, the results obtained were that the patients experienced changes, namely a decrease in RR, no additional sound of wet crackles, and reduced production sputum. Recommendations, nurses are expected to be able to apply chest physiotherapy therapy to deal with the problem of ineffective airway clearance nursing in Bronchopneumonia patients.
