Abstract

Background: The quality of health services for patients is closely related to their level of satisfaction with the services they receive. Patient satisfaction is a major component of health services, and it has been proven that there is a close relationship between health professional services. Satisfaction can be considered as an assessment made by patients regarding the dimensions of effectiveness, service efficiency, access to services and patient-centered care, justice and safety dimensions. Objective: to determine the quality of health services in the Safa and Marwah Inpatient Rooms at PKU Muhammadiyah Petanahan Hospital. Method: This research is an observational descriptive design. Samples taken from 61 inpatients were taken using purposive sampling technique. Results: The quality of health services based on the service effectiveness dimension was mostly dissatisfied with 34 respondents (55.7%), the majority of respondents were satisfied with the service access dimension, namely 32 respondents (52.5%), the service access dimension with the majority of respondents were dissatisfied, namely 32 respondents ( 52.5%), the patient centered dimension of most respondents was dissatisfied, namely 32 respondents (52.5%), the justice dimension of most respondents was dissatisfied, namely 31 respondents (50.8%) and the security dimension of most respondents was satisfied, namely 46 respondents (75.4%). Conclusion: The quality of health services in the Safa and Marwah Inpatient Rooms at PKU Muhammadiyah Petanahan Hospital for most respondents is not good, namely 33 respondents (54.1%). Recommendation: For further researchers, it is recommended to research the relationship between respondent characteristics and the level of patient satisfaction in each dimension.
