Abstract
Background: Section Caesarea (SC) operation is a surgical procedure performed by making incisions in the abdomen and cervix walls of the mother. Post-op wounds for Section Caesarea can often be painful. Measures that can be taken to pain management involve drug and non-drug therapy. One act that reduces pain is the foot hand massage. Objective: The purpose of this study is to identify the image of nursing the post's mother, Section Caesarea, with acute pain treatment and the application of foot hand massage. Method: The study uses descriptive methods with case studies approach. The data collection process uses interviews and observations performed on three patients over a period of three days. Result: As a result of the six sessions of foot hand massage, three respondents declined from an average of 8 to 4. Recommendation: The foot hand massage was used as alternative nonpharmacological actions on the post lady Section Caesarea to relieve pain.
