Abstract
Background: Hypertension is blood pressure >140/90 mmHg. Symptoms that appear are dissiness, difficulty sleeping, a feeling of heaviness in the nape of the neck, getting tired easily when doing activities. Hypertension can be treated using pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapy. Non-pharamacological therapy that can be used to lower blood pressure and signs of symtoms is a combination of Slow Deep Breathing Therapy and Hydrotherapy by soaking the feet in warm water. Objective: To describe nursing care of by providing a combination of Slow Deep Breathing therapy and warm water foot soaking hydrotherapy to reduce blood pressure and signs of symptoms of hypertensive clients. Methods: The study was conducted by descriptive approach with case studies. The data collection process was carried out through interviews, observation and documentation on 3 respondents. Results: After being given a combination of Slow Deep Breathing therapy and Hydrotherapy soaking feet in warm water for 3 days, all 3 clients experienced a decrease in blood pressure and signs of symptoms. Recommendation: Hypertensive clients can continue the combination of Slow Deep Breathing Therapy and Hydrotherapy by soaking their feet in warm water independently to reduce blood pressure and signs of hypertension
